snakes and spiders
So, I finally saw Spiderman 3 last night... after having not planned to see it in theaters at all. I found it...
... as a film student: horrendous.
... as an audience member: disappointing.
I can only hope Pirates doesn't befall the same fate.
In other news, I realized why Nick and I have been having such a rough time lately. I feel entirely unsupported in my decision to stay with him. I have been openingly questioning my comittment to him, with him, and putting him through hell, when in fact things have gotten a ton better than they used to be, and they continue to. I just get the feeling everyone thinks I'm stupid and I start to ignore the good things in the relationship. For the past month or so:
Nothing major in the relationship has been wrong that wasn't something that I started.
Of course things aren't perfect, but they never will be - and even so, it's going to take time until he and I completely stop getting mad at silly things. I'm just asking for some support during the time it takes....
... and I'm basically just asking everyone not to think I'm stupid, and if you truly do, then this is just something outside of your experience, and I ask for some respect.
