Today I had planned on going to Chiba for a couple hours and getting some school supplies, and not a whole lot more. Over breakfast Hisayuki asked if I was interested in Japanese history and told me that there was a big museum nearby. Once I finished eating everyone started putting their shoes on and we ended up having an all day family outting! The museum was indeed big, but a little bit boring. The happiest part was when we went in the room with all the old armor and celebration attire, and Hisayuki picked up this crazy wooden instrument and started rattling it like crazy. At first he was just trying to get Ryu-chan's attention, but after a while I think he was just having fun entertaining himself. After the museum we all went to SOGO (a department store in Chiba) for lunch. I ate a delicious bowl of miso ramen, and crazy baby made a huge mess, as per usual. We split up for half an hour after that so I could run and buy myself notebooks and stuff, and then met in the kids play area in SOGO where Ryu-chan was going totally nuts with other babies. We bought some fresh veggies and meat in the basement and then headed home. Hisayuki made rack of lamb and tastey vegetables and I even got to eat red bean ice cream for dessert. It was pretty fancy, but I gotta say I'm really not into eating lamb. My favorite part of dinner was how Masayo kept saying everything looked like restaraunt food. She was so excited! I love her but she makes me miss my mommy :[
I am really really nervous to start school. I just want kids to like me!
