2K7....I can't belive we made it.
And yes, I do plan to say that every year for quite some time.
I came into this here year smashing things in the hotel rooms of wealthy albertans in Panorama, and I smashed my way back by reducing the ornaments on the Pit's still-standing Christmas tree to mere coloured shards on the floor, and moments later doing something very similar to their public use telephone, which may or may not have me faring poorly upon my next visit. We shall see. i don't think 2K7 has the guts to ban me from the Pit.
I'm sure this hapless destruction may have appeared to the outside observer as childish foolishness, and to those judges high and mighty I say:
if ya'll don't like me, blow me.
I know slightly less every year and i think that's just terrific. i missed seeing a lot of my favourite les incompetants this christmas (talk about your pieces of crap), but i sincerely did not miss Christmas in all its overbearingness. Plus i get to go to Saskamatoon for my dad's wedding April and i can see stupids then. And get toasted, nicely toasted. Not at my dad's wedding of course. That would be awkward.
Right, so I sucked at skiing but ruled at everything else, got mistaken for under the age of 16 twice, B.C. can keep its stupid avalanches to itself, and i still have a partially unwarranted yet strikingly complete hatred for Australians. My hair's pretty long. I love my friend-boy slighty heaps, I keep finding new reasons to embrace the Wu-Tang Clan a little tighter, and I remain unapologetic about my affection for Justin Timberlake. I have a bit of a pain in my credit card balance (she burns), but I stick to my classic plan of taking the debt with me to the grave, so i don't give a fuck.
This year i resolve to dance more and try to send more things in the mail to babies i know. and people who are grown up i know too.
i'm pretty glad i live in a place where one can so readily smoke inside and smash things.
