Thats what we call these caterpillars. Supposedly, the wider the red/brown stripe is, the longer and harder the winter is going to be. :)

Yeah I saw one or two out at syrup camp. I'm wearing my Led Zeppilin tshirt, which used to be one of my faves, but now the collar is stretched and it is no longer my fave. My music fest 97 was my fave for a long time but I put it out of commission about a month ago.

i haven't seen any fuzzy fuzzies lately, but the other day i did see a dark red worm on the sidewalk. he had the tiniest of sticks stuck to his side as he inched along. and on the very tip of the tiny stick there were 2 tiny buds, making it look suspiciously like a hobo sack. a tiny tiny wormy hobo sack.

on that very same day i also saw robert munsch read mortimer. something every kid in canada needs to do. (even if you're 24) oh, and fred penner said hi to me as i was stumbling out of the portapotty. am i cool or what!

may i also inform you that my successive summers of skin irritation, has gone on to year number 4 as last week i had a violent allergic reaction to my sunblock. my eyes swelled so i could barely see and ofcoarse my face and arms were covered in rashes. i think next year i will just roll around in some stinging nettles to get it all over with! e.
