"I must write something interesting; I must write something interesting; I must write something interesting."
Right, good...ok so...Something Interesting.
Fuck, I've got nothing.
Damnit. That's far from interesting. Try again, Kate.
Euh, right. Takže, let's try this: The supermarket down the street sells 5 different types of Egg Nog, and it's not even christmas yet...
How was that? Alright? How did I do?
Frankly, not great.
I believe I have what some would call "blogger's block". Which is insanely infuriating, as I'm feeling as though I need to write just now, to clear my brain a little and make sense out of things. A bit of organisation, you know? It always seems to do the trick when listlessness becomes overpowering...or worse, guilty listlessness.
But seeing as how neither organisation nor inspiration are likely to be visiting my apartment this evening, I give you instead, Ladies and Gentlemen, for your viewing pleasure...SCIENTIFIC SHAMPOO.
Hopefully you're able to see what is faintly amusing about that particular bottle of shampoo. Do you see the little circle below the larger circle? The design team at Sunsilk cleverly decided to insert some graphics showing, according to their research, what lipids look like. Essentially, they ressemble little orange blobs. Which is all well and good, but I for one certainly did not decide to purchase that shampoo based on those splodges...they're not even hugely convincing splodges. They just look like small bananas, or boomerangs, with the word "lipids" written below. I was far more convinced by the description of the shampoo's benefits, which is written in Polish. That was what won me over, for sure.
Polish will do it every time.
Truly fascinating stuff. Hurrah for blogs.
