Uni starts on the 3rd of October in Prague.

Should I:

- leave Australia on the 3rd of September, as my ticket currently indicates, which means arriving in Prague on the 4th of September (losing a WHOLE day of my life I might add), and use that month to find work/friends/my way ( Read more... )

Get a typewriter, and write yourself post-it notes with it, and then leave them around the place...there's something about typed post-it notes that is just so much cooler than ordinary scribbled ones. Your housemates would find that so cool that they wouldn't even think of complaining about the noise.

And about leaving the country, there's a first time for everything, and Prague could be it! It's the most amazing city.

ebay?

they have millions of the things...

But also, for more immediate typewriter purchasing satisfaction, you could go to the Sydney equivalent of Revolve (the tip shop). You're bound to find one there...whether it will work very well is another thing altogether.

The good thing about typewriters is that if something does bugger up with them, you can usually fix it yourself with a bit of elbow grease...unlike our friend the computer.

Eh. Space and time and growing up got between us...

Fran and Helen are still very close, and I try and keep in contact as much as possible (something I'm really terrible at)...and Charlie is still in Canberra. We all met up a few weeks ago for coffee and it was cool, really the first time in years we'd all been together again. But it's hard, being all in different places and having changed alot over time. And we all have new responsibilities these days, which is really something we never had when we were really close. Responsibilities suck...but they're unfortunately unavoidable.

I think things could have been done differently, I could have kept in better contact for example, and maybe today it would be more like it used to be. Or maybe that's just the effect time has on relationships at this age...maybe?

Such great memories though.

Year 12 days will always be that. Year 12 days. Uni, travelling, working, living in different cities ... all adds up, but should never detract from the unique wonderul friendships you once shared.

Unfortunately it takes effort from all parties concerned to keep it like it used to be... or you can each embrace each other's life choices and just support your friends with all the love you got.

I speak to the tinybear from time to time ... I _did_ have Charlie's email once upon a time ... i dont think she wants to hear from me anyways :p ahahah. s'for helen i never really had much contact with that chooken. hope you are all well and moving forward and not stagnating!
