[It was a usual Monday morning. Or at least, that was what Minami expected when she went to wake up her brother nice and early. However, when she found the door oddly unlocked after her futile attempts at knocking...
Empty. The room was devoid of any person, save for the stunned redhead. Maybe he went out without her knowing? It happened sometimes

In some ways, he was expecting this, really. Almost all of his other friends have disappeared, so it's... just a sort of countdown, even if this one hurts more than the others. He's gotten far too used to this.
Still, he can remember how he felt when Anemone first left.]
I know it won't bring him back, but... I'm sorry.

No, Dominic... You shouldn't apologize. I'm... really stupid for crying over something I knew could happen at any time... I... I shouldn't have just assumed that...
[... since they were both dead and had no where else to go, they wouldn't disappear from this world. That was naive of her. Still, she had mustered enough self-control to not finish that sentence.
Minami sniffled, rubbing the tears away from her eyes with her sleeve.]
Hey... Where are you right now?

In the city, but I'm heading back to Dusk. Why?

Could you meet me at Minato's room when you get back? He left a few things behind, and I think it's best if you hold onto one of them.

[He's not sure why he should hold onto any of Minato's things, but...]

Thanks... I'll be waiting.

And, as promised, he comes back as soon as he can and heads to Minato's room. Knocking on the door, even if it's open. idk.]
Minami...?

Minami looks up at the sound of the knock, and picks herself up from the floor. She answers the already open door and greets him... less energetically than usual.]
Hey, Dominic. Glad you could make it.
Reply
... He notices, but he won't comment.]
Yeah... so what is it that you thought I should have?

[Minami walks over to the nightstand and picks up a book with a box sitting on top of this, then turns back to him.]
Are you familiar with Tarot cards?

[She looks down at the box, her expression unreadable.]
You could say that the Major Arcana of the tarot cards were important in the life of my brother and I. The book here... has the story of "The Fool's Journey". It's about the journey through life. I recommend that you read it some time. I'm sure Minato would like that...
[A pause as she thinks a few things over, then finally:]
Dominic, you know how I mentioned my brother and I were from parallel dimensions?
Reply
Yeah, I remember... Why?

[She took a deep breath. Minami didn't know why she was telling this all of a sudden. Maybe it was because if she finally was able to discuss it, she'd have a little more closure. Maybe she'd be able to get over it, and have no regrets when she returned to her world to become the Great Seal.]
Ten years ago, my family and I got into an accident, and... I was the only one that lived. For the 'Minato' here, I was the one who died. I'm sure you can put the pieces together...
[Her gazes moves towards the window, almost as if it were to a portal to her world.]
So... Even if I return to my world, it's going to be a very long while before I see him again.

It's a strange thing to grasp, but considering all that he's seen in his world and this one, he's come to accept these kind of things easily. In another reality, Minato is dead.
... In some ways, he can understand, but in a reverse sort of way. ]
That... must've been strange, to see him here again.
[What's he supposed to say? "I'm sorry" again?]
Reply
Yeah... At first, I couldn't believe it. I still ended up getting attached again...
[She looks back at Dominic and smiles sheepishly.]
... I guess I'm telling you all this because I feel like I can trust you. Sorry for bringing it up all of a sudden.
