I'm just thinking aloud here so if this never materialises, please don't hold it against me.
I just wanted you all to know that I'm considering taking an extended hiatus from holmeschat for a while, and maybe from #221bbaker as well. Nothing against the people that are reading this (well, most of you, anyway) but the level the disrespect there has grown to has frankly made me so sick of looking at the place that I haven't even bothered to check it today. I know I'm not the only one with a stressful job around here but I think the anons (and some others as well) would do to remember that holmeschat is meant to be a place of camaraderie and fun, not a place you dread going because of what you might read about yourself there (and yes, I know there's more today - I heard Sally yelling this morning - and no, I'm not going to go look, not right now and possibly not ever, if her fury is anything to go by.)
Anyway, I guess I'm just looking for a pity party some confirmation here that what I'm trying to do over there is both appreciated and actually agreed with by someone, even if not the half dozen or so wankers who seem to have decided it's their new job to terrorise everyone.
