Christ. I'm saying that a lot lately, I know, but this case is, well, it's unlike any I've seen possibly ever, to be honest. It's that twisted.
I can't go into details, not without risking the case, but I will say this -
salts_theway quite possibly saved my life today when an interrogation questioning a pair of suspects went horribly wrong. We got a confession out of it in the end from both parties even though she's only four years older than, but it still feels like a hollow victory. I've got a bit of a bump on the back of my head but that's it, all thanks to
salts_theway who'd better be getting her hand looked at and probably that eye as well.
All in all an excellent job by the whole team who I'm hoping will forgive me for saying GO HOME after the paperwork is done, anyway. DON'T LET ME SEE YOUR FACE UNTIL MONDAY AND YOU HAD BETTER BE GETTING SOME FOOD AND SOME SLEEP.
