ASB
well.... got home from ASB camp from UC Santa Barbara a couple of hours ago. PICTURES HOPEFULLY SOON! really glad to be back but as soon as i got off the bus back at los al, i already missed camp :(. the dorms were really small though and we had the communal showers. :-\
i didn't realize how many hott people were in asb, so gorgeous. :) fountain valley and el toro know how to pick them ;).
tues: bus ride up, eh. the group pretty much only settled in that day and did group activities and then we all got seranaded in tanya's room by a bunch of el toro boys. they were good, especially when they went shirtless, haha.
wednes: got up SO early to take a HOTT shower. (felt good) lol. then i got stuck in this lame job-a-like workshop that was really gay. but later we had a really good speaker and there was this kid who told this amazing story and sent 90% of the girls (including me) into tears. unfortunately i didnt get to talk to him alot and i didnt get to find out what school he went to, but i got to give him one of the los al wristbands and say a few words and hug him. i dont know if i will ever see him again. but he is so blessed and he is so lucky and he is so thankful for everything. he is so amazing, i hope that i can get in touch with him some how. it was awesome... then that night we had a flashdance themed dance, and you know what that means. SPANDEX. it was a pretty good dance. but some weird songs. i mainly stayed with los al people for most of the time. but i had fun messing around.
thurs: got up EARLY again for another hott shower. it was good cuz i was the only one in the showers so i didnt have to worry about water and what-not. but i was so tired. then we had workshops where four speakers spoke to use. they were really good. one made me cry, again. :( it was really sad. talent show that night, there were some pretty amazing singers. especially the one boy who played guitar and sang by him self :) SO GREAT! every girl was screaming in the stands. (one of them was me) haha. then after that we had a pirates of the caribbean themed dance. so great! this was a farrrrrrrrr better dance and everyone was going crazy and everyone was dancing with people from different schools, it was this big massive freaking group. haha. OH WHICH I FORGOT TO MENTION: it was 44 schools, over 1300 ASB students, IT WAS SO FREAKING CRAZY. i met a bunch of different guys ;) haha. everyone was SOOO nice and really sweet and polite. :) it was great.
fri: got up early once again. and when i mean early, i was going to bed around 12:30 to 1 in the morning, and waking up at 5:40 to shower. and by today EVERYONE was completely exhausted. it was non-stop sense it started. so today we packed up and went to a goodbye ceremony where they gave out the awards and then we all loaded up on the buses and left :( we played games and "flowed" (haha) on the way back. it was fun.
i'm really glad that i'm on asb this year. i would've missed out on meeting so many awesome people and getting to know them better. :) i think this year is gonna be a lot of fun. i'm glad they have this camp. i'm always gonna remember it. :)
now: I'M REALLY TIRED. and i have a soccer tournament this weekend. yay! hopefully we do good.
