(no subject)
i finally got to see a thunderstorm! got off work and saw some flashes on my way home. i took a cold shower to wash off the grossness of the day and to cool off and i got out when cyd got home. i stepped into my room and it was loud. the fan was loud, but not that loud. i look outside and it is POURING down rain. it was awesome! the rain gutters couldn't even hold it. it wasn't until about 1:15 that i got some decent thunder. before then it was just lightning in the sky and no thunder. it was like watching an action sequence in a movie with no sound. it wasn't right. so i went to bed and a few mins later i got the better storm. once the thunder set of somone's car alarm. that's what i'm talkin about. so i didn't get enought sleep. thunderstorms are awesome!!
work was ok till about a little after 10. there was something like 30 people that came in all at teh same time. less than a hour before closing. i had just started sweeping too. what sucked was they had to order almost everything on one ridiculously huge order. i was almost 200 dollars. and it took over half an hour to get out. it took up so much space on the screen that the people in the back couldn't see it all and the only way to see more of what's on the screen is to bump off orders. if you bump it it's gone. i really hope they learned not to do that ever again. break it up into smaller orders. not only will it be far less confusing, you will get your food a lot faster. we had people in drive-thru just drive off without ever getting to the window to get their order it was taking so long. they left 5 mins before i got off work. i wasn't getting anything done. someone else got to clean the lobby instead.
and it's finally not terribly hot. it's been way too hot.
