Alcohol and the internet are social lubricants and my best friends in times of need.

Thou spracht poetresca.

errr. What I mean is that "Social lubricants" is my kinda language. Love it!! On a different but somehow similar note, one sister of mine said once that she detested butter because it was nothing more than a "lubricant." Now, I look at the butter tray in a different light.

Onto other subjects--What the hell, Miss Slutina of the East Bay, goin' 'round making out with all the girls all weekend. =)) Sounds like you had a great time. Don't sweat it if she doesn't call you back. And especially, don't assume it has anything to do with "you," per se. Some people just want the 'experience' of trying it. Others 'want-want' the experience, but just are not ready. Either way, you won't hear from those people. And anyway, you don't want to be dealing with all of their emotional turmoil, anyway. Be free. Know you are young and there so many experiences and wonderful people awaiting you.

I mean that.

Yeah Saturday was great great stuff. I was mad at myself today cuz I was too afraid to go to the two places on campus that are sorta like gay and lesbian student centers. I've been there but I feel awkward going unless I have a specific mission in mind or meeting to attend. But otherwise I'm generally excited about all the lesbian interactions that lay ahead of me. I just got on downelink- I'll see if that's my scene.

Don't know what Downelink is. Just looked it up but didn't feel up to registering right now because I'm tired, have an interview in the WEE hours of the morning, etc. etc. What's the deal? What is it?

Wish you were 21, as there is a very popular women's thing in Contra Costa on Wednesday nights. The L-Word party. It is jam packed with THE LADIES....ha! Seriously, it is a younger crowd. Cute girls from all around. *They serve free pizza, and you know how lesbians are about free food. JUST KIDDING!
Not trying to taunt you with this. But perhaps it's something to look forward to. Strangely, there are so few lesbian events in our metropolitan area. It's nice when there is something kinda low-key to go to.

Downelink is like the queer equivalent of myspace, which is something similar to friendster, it's an internet social networking thing.
Yeah it's too bad I'm not 21, it would nice to have more things open to me even though I don't have any interest in growing up. Maybe I should look into getting a fake ID. Otherwise I have to wait THIRTEEN MONTHS to go to this thing and other clubs and bars. :'(. I'm very impatient.
I've never seen the L-word, we don't have cable but I have been told that I have to watch it. I think I should just go to blockbuster and rent the first season... but I don't even have a blockbuster account... I don't even have a credit card... duh. I'm still a kid.
