Busy time for me
Yesterday was the Sephardic Food Festival at my temple. For those of you who are Ashkenazi or goyyim, you have no idea what you are missing!!! Such delicious food!!! Our stands included food from Cuba, Israel, Iran, Iraq, Morocco, Egypt, Turkey and Rhodes. And there was a great band playing; of course I just had to get up and dance along with several others. Fun!!
Saturday I attended a surprise party for a friend. I only knew a few people, and most of the guests were smoking, so my clothes reeked of cigarette smoke. Ick. It was fun, though. Found a few Blood Ties fans (yea!!!) and some others that I connected with. Only thing is, the majority of them connected through, what else, MySpace. I still keep getting bugged to have my own, but it seems like soooo much work. Plus, I don't like posting my face online; I'm not as photogenic as I used to be.
I'm sad to hear that Roy Scheider died. After seeing him in All That Jazz, based closely on Bob Fosse's life, I have such respect for him. Now I want to go out and buy the movie. And who could forget him in Jaws - awesome movie.
