Pissed
I'm trying to write poetry right now
But my mind is totally blank!
Subject matter's not forthcoming,
And I've got my life to thank.

Cuz it's going pretty well right now
I haven't been recently dumped;
I'm not sad or suicidal,
And my sex life's not in a slump...

I'm kinda pissed at the government,
But in that I'm not alone;
I've no unrequieted love right now,
And I haven't been recently stoned.

So what am I to write about?
This shit is pissing me off!
I need to go out and find some angst,
Or find something at which to scoff.

Maybe I'll fall in love again,
Or adopt a cause of two -
Because I'm sick of staring at an empty page
And wondering what to do!!!
