Back at Hogwart's
So, I'm back for my third and final year. This year's main concern will be my activities in the Criminal Clinic. On Monday, I went to the introductory meeting for the clinic where I found out that on Friday I will be given a tour of the Loisiana Supreme Court building by the Chief Justice of the Louisiana Supreme Court then sworn into the Louisiana Court System as a Student Attorney. Tuesday I got an email that I should stop in to fill out my phone, number adress, etc. and make sure that my entry card worked. One step into the door, I get stopped by another clinic student who asks if I can be at a meeting at 10, apparently we were just assigned a second degree murder case. I had only planned to stop by for 10 minutes or so, but after that I sat down and read the Louisiana Criminal Code for four hours. It should be an exciting year.
