Why won't 2005 go the fuck away?
I just spent the past 30 minutes taking apart my car door, because the assholes that charged me $200 to fix it after the window got smashed out, did not do it correctly and now that I am 8 hours away from Nashville, the window is off the track and comes crashing down as I'm driving down the street. What happened is that they had a hard time getting the door apart so they broke two pieces and then screwed them back on, and only connected the window to one side of the track, hence why it broke not immediately but a short while after. After taking the whole damn thing apart, I realized that the one fucking wrench that got lost, is the one I need, so I had to put it back together and will have to fight with it later.
Before my window problems I was at a lawyers office trying to deal with another lingering problem from 2005. My Public intox/impeding the street car thing from last summer is finally going to court tommorrow. However, the New Orleans DA's office is so clusterfucked right now that they aren't returning my KY lawyer's phone calls, so he hired me a lawyer in New Orleans, who thinks it will be a cinch, but it's a day of classes that I will have to miss to be in court.
I really just wish that New Year's Day truly was a fresh start. I'm just ready to move on with my life.
