Happy fall equinox, everyone <3
I celebrated the first day of autumn by picking up craft materials. I am going to crochet the boy a blanket for his new home and start working on presents for my new roommates. I am loving my new home. It is filled with wonderful people and I am completely feeling at home. Half of my bedroom is still filled with the belongings of the last roommate because I was able to thankfully move in early, so most of my things are still in boxes. Konstantine is loving being able to run around the room and hide behind random pieces of furniture. Last night, I made dinner for my roommates. I had forgotten how much I love cooking for people.
I am really happy to be able to spend Nicole's last week in BC as her roommate. She is so lovely to be around.
Most of this week has been spent packing and unpacking. The boy has moved into my old house and we moved his kitties in last night. We spent this afternoon cuddling and studying. My schoolwork has been piling over me, but is so incredibly interesting. I am beginning my first group project this week. We are examining the need for a universal definition of disability, one that is not exclusively used for medical or social needs. It makes me happy to know that the organizations that I work for are currently using everything that has been recommended in the course so far.
