The class of '06 is done already? dang.

Congratulations to all the sophomores on graduation (you will always be sophomores to me; especially you, Jeff).

Time is starting to go by a little more quickly than I'd like it too. In high school, I never pictured life after graduation. When it finally came and went, I spent a lot of time sitting around in limbo, wondering about what happens next. Since then, this trip to Europe has been the next kind of pivot point in my life. I haven't really thought about what it would be like coming home after seeing a big chunk of the world. I imagine I'll be addicted to seeing big chunks of the world.

Fortunately, the future sketches itself out now better than it used to. Classes, housing, and work are settled for the coming fall. All that remains is figuring out the details. I need to prepare a monologue for auditions. I've had trouble doing it with a straight face since I saw the Family Guy episode where Brian prepares one. Every time I read something I crack up and say "Julie, there's something I have to tell you." Oh well, I'll worry about that after I get back.

I love it when I start to update my journal, get up to do something else and forget about it, then come back almost 3 hours later and read what I wrote.

Time to go get the rest of the stuff I need for the trip. Y'all come back now, ya heeah. I promise the next update will be more exciting.
