So. Finally got this thing working again, just in time to hear all bloody hell breaking loose up there. Sad to have missed it.

Unfortunately, I've been spending my time chained to a wall in someone's basement. Now I ask you- is that a way to treat an old mate ( Read more... )

Someone chained you up for being a vampire?

That's hardly why we chained him up. It has more to do with the rampant murder, actually. He's from our world, and when he arrived we panicked.

We've been supplying him blood and allowing him access to the Network, but we realize that since he hasn't done anything here, we have no grounds on holding him, so we're letting him go.

Has he been chained up then since he arrived here then?

It wasn't that long of a time.

A couple of weeks. Because we know he kills without remorse, it took us some time to try and figure out how to handle the situation, given that it's rather delicate. Curses getting in the way didn't help.

I very much loathe the idea of waiting until he goes out to kill some innocent people before being able to act, but rules are rules.

I'm hoping that he'll understand being in such close quarters works against him, and he'll just get his blood from the butcher's. Anything's possible.

And chaining him up was the best idea? Honestly, in a City that is full of not friendly vampires, I doubt that he would be the worst.

He doesn't seem that bad at least.

When we found him at the Raven he was about to feed off of a girl. He's not as innocent as you apparently think he is.

The vampire I know feeds off of people so I don't find it as wrong as you do.

...If you're talking about Henry, it isn't the same.

So he kills when he feeds?

He used to torture his victims by driving railroad spikes into their heads. It's kind of how he got his name.

Ah..

That certainly doesn't sound like a nice vampire.

Spike's known for being one of the most notoriously vicious vampires in Europe's history, second only to one other. He was also known as William the Bloody, and has killed two Vampire Slayers. Appearances can be deceiving, Miss.

But you're right. There are more dangerous beings here, and he's gotten rather low on our priority list.

Well that is quite a list.

Are you planning on keeping him chained up for the entire time he's here then?

It's filled quite a few texts, actually.

No. Though we feel that would be the safest option, there are rules here, and we must abide by them. We're setting him free and we'll do our best to keep an eye on him. We'll be sure to let the police force know of his history, and they can decide if they also want to help monitor him.

Sounds like a plan.

Plus after the curses, he might not want to do anything but find a way out of here.
