OMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMG THIS MONTH GUYS IT'S THIS MONTH!!! Okay, I know we've only just added each other, so on the risk of making myself look like a complete lunatic:
I KNOW!!!! I CAN'T WAIT!!
IN THE OTHER TRAILER, THERE WERE THESE THINGS WITH HUGE PORCELAIN HEADS THAT SCARED THE HELL OUT OF ME. AND THOSE THINGS WHERE THE JAWS JUST OPEN WIDER THAN IS HUMANLY POSSIBLE YET STILL LOOK FRIGHTENINGLY HUMAN? PLEASE LET THIS BE AS GOOD AS IT LOOKS!
lol there's no risk of that. I tend to get very intense when it comes to this show. XD *hits capslock key*
UHM I THINK I'M ALREADY FREAKED OUT IN ADVANCE AND ACTUALLY SOME OF THE MONSTERS IN THE TRAILERS HAVE ALREADY SHOWED UP IN MY DREAMS (I THINK I MIGHT HAVE WATCHED THE TRAILERS OVER AND OVER AND OVER A COUPLE TOO MANY TIMES, HEH), WHICH MADE FOR A VERY SCARY DREAM. D: I'M MOST FREAKED OUT BY THE CLOWN IN THE PREVIOUS TRAILER. THE CLOWN DOESN'T LOOK VERY SCARY, WHICH IS MAKING ME PARANOID. I'M CONVINCED THAT IN THE EPISODE IT WILL DO SOMETHING TERRIFYING A FEW SECONDS AFTER THAT CLIP ENDS IN THE TRAILER... *BASELESS FEARS*
I WANT TO KNOW WHAT'S UP WITH THE TARDIS. AND WHO RIVER IS (I THINK SHE'S THE MASTER LOL). AND OMG NEIL GAIMAN IS WRITING AN EPISODE :D :D :D. I'M SO SO EXCITEDDDDD.
THE CLOWN DOESN'T LOOK VERY SCARY, WHICH IS MAKING ME PARANOID. Yesssh, because he is sitting in a room where he is very much out of place and he has a sad face! AND A BALLOON. I don't know, I think ever since It, clowns have gone on my no-no list.
Okay, so I was just interrupted by a pair of Jehovah's Witnesses ringing my doorbell, I kid you not.
What I mean to say is, YES BASELESS FEARS ARE BOTH THE WORST AND THE BEST BECAUSE MOFFAT DOES THEM SO WELL.
I'm most curious to find out who it is Amy shoots and why it's so bad.
I READ NEIL GAIMAN'S COLUMN ABOUT THE EPISODE WRITING SOMEWHERE ON TUMBLR AND IT WAS GLORIOUS. MOSTLY BECAUSE HE COMES ACROSS AS A MAJOR FANBOY LOL.
UGH THAT MOVIE. D: True story: my aunt is a huge horror fan and I watched that movie for the first time while visiting her. Well, the first half - it's a long movie so we only saw half of it. Then that night I was sleeping in the guest bedroom, which - and this is the freaky part - is decorated with paintings of clowns and there's a porcelain clown doll sitting on a shelf (COMBINING THE HORRORS OF DOLLS WITH THE HORRORS OF CLOWNS WHY WOULD SOMEONE EVEN DO THAT). I still haven't seen the second half of "It"!! /o\
Ahahaha well at least you weren't interrupted by, like, clowns? XD ...although thinking about it, that would probably never happen.
HE GAVE ME AN ACTUAL PHOBIA FOR STATUES. THAT MAGNIFICENT BASTARD.
Me toooo. Oh I hope it's not someone I like, and in that case I really hope they don't die. That would suuuuck. D:
LOL NEIL. I MET HIM ONCE AT A BOOK SIGNING! :D It must be so so much fun for a writer to write for a tv-show they're a fan of.
That's horrible... was your aunt's love for clown dolls in any way linked to her love of horror? BECAUSE THAT WOULD JUST BE CREEPY, YO. But honestly, I can't even remember much of what happened in It, I just remember it as, well, the feeling of shuddering.
...although thinking about it, that would probably never happen. If that had happened, I would've questioned my sanity.
HE GAVE ME AN ACTUAL PHOBIA FOR STATUES. Ugh, yes. I was in a statues gallery in a museum two weeks ago and there was a larger-than-life statue of Spartacus looking pissed, and next to it of the grim reaper (but built like a Greek god) and all I kept thinking was "WHAT IF THEY GET DOWN OF THEIR PEDESTALS AND COME AFTER ME?" I'm 25 years old, what is wrong with me?
Nah, I think it was more that she decorated the guest bedroom by looking at what paintings and whatnot they already had in the attic (it's a really old house so there's a lot of old furnitures and things hidden away in storage rooms) and then decided to put all the clown stuff in the kid guest bedroom because hey! kids like clowns! ...except that backfired badly lmao. I remember that the clown was sneaking around outside where laundry were hanging to dry and kidnapped some kid and then people ran around in the sewers a lot... that's all. I don't remember a lot either. Maybe I've blocked it out lol. XD
Yeah that probably wouldn't have been a good sign!
Hahahaha oh man that sounds so scary. LOL MOFFAT WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?? XD
YES HE SIGNED MY COPY OF AMERICAN GODS. AND HE DREW A QUICK DOODLE OF ODIN. AND HE WROTE "CAROLINE". AND SIGNED IT WITH HIS NAME. IT. WAS. AWESOME.
