I am in the third space, otherwise known as Starbucks. My plan was to stay here for two hours to finish my exam questions to a point where I would only need to edit them and hand them in. I have received a free sample of a sickly sweet frappucino and bought a latte, to provide both caffeine and enough calories to fill me until I have dinner later tonight. I find studying to be much better on a relatively empty stomach. At least when it comes down to the wire. This is completely idiotic in theory, I should have brain food to keep me going, but I think when I’m on the verge on hunger, I find myself most clear. Or at least the combination of hunger/caffeine works well to keep me in a focused state. That is, until the teenage girls on the couch across the coffee shop start doing their nails. The smell of their nail polish is revolting and not at all appropriate for a coffee shop. Don’t they have bathrooms and bedrooms for personal grooming. Oh, to be a teenager again, to be completely oblivious to the needs of anyone but oneself.

Back to food policy.
