Hey all

I was watching MTV's MADE the other day...and I have to say it was the most depressing thing I've ever seen in my life. It was about this boy named Ian who was trying to make a girl (I think her name was Martha, but I really didn't like her and tried to forget about her right after the show ended so I'm not sure if that is really her name) like him by taking Salsa dancing lessons with her. And throughout the entire show, Ian was so adorable and lovable, but things never seemed to go his way. For example, he told Martha that he was strong, so she sat on his back and told him to do push-ups, and he farted on her! And his face got all red and he looked like he was going to cry! It was awful! And then he cooked her this big pasta dinner because Martha's "best friend" told Ian that she loved this certain type of pasta...but, as it turned out, Martha was allergic to all types of pasta! AWFUL! And every other minute of the show was filled with more depressing incidents like these, where poor Ian got embarrassed and hurt; like when Stupid Martha started to like Vik, the best dressed boy in school and told Ian they needed "space". And Finally, I would have to say the climax of the show was by far most depressing: When, after their salsa dancing performance in the school talent show, Ian tells Martha his true feelings for her, and she completely shuts him down and tells him that they should only be friends. Ian tries so hard to act suave, but is totally trying to hide tears...it was sad. I was sad when the show ended. Why can't guys like Ian ever come out on top? And Martha was so not even that cool. She was chunky. And stupid. Ian can do better. Anyways, now that that's off of my chest...I can move on. Yesterday I got two checks from my work for $250! I'm a baller high roller baby :) But for real, not only do I love my new job, but I make $150 dollars a week now (which is twice as much as I made cleaning) and that makes me happy! I guess that's about it. Although I have to say, if you weren't aware, Chris and I bought three baby turtles, and they're getting SO big! If you want a pet and you live in a college dorm, I would SO recommend that you buy baby red-ear slider turtles. Unless there's a no pet at all rule. They're adorable and it's fun to watch them grow. Alright, now I'm done! Have a great weekend everyone. :)
