Hey all...alright, well today was boring as usual...except for one small television program on the Catholic station. Ok, there is this male singer on the station, I think it's called "Life on the Rock", and he sings 80's pop hits, only changes the lyrics so they have a religious feel, and he is hilarious. In no way am I putting down the Catholic ( Read more... )

After being long over due, here I go and I am posting a comment in here to livejournal! Lisa, this one is all for you. I myself found the catholic singer funny to watch, and also to be disturbing. First off, you can see this wierdo first hand by visiting his lovely site at http://www.nickalexander.com/ . Secondly, this guy's songs can be bought and downloaded from iTunes through Apple. This is too crazy for me. Just at this point I feel like after seeing him and William Hung that it must not be really any big deal to produce your own record these days. And then have them add it to multiple online music download stores is just a plus! Oh well, enough of all of this, I need to go to sleep since I start work at 7:30 to teach people how to use a telephone. You think it wouldn't be that hard since we have been using them for how many years now. But hey, when you are talking about the majority of worker's at MCC, nothing can surprise you! So I myself get to go around ( ... )

Hey Lisa, THanks for making fun of Catholics. I really appreciate it. (If there were a bucket under this paragraph i wonder if it would catch all the sarcasm; because it is dripping haha)

O yea the priest would not be able to give you a dissaproving eye in the confessional. There is a dark screen that seperates you so it is difficult to make out features.

If i find any other fallacies in your slandering paragraph ill let you know.

FORGIVENESS upon YOU

Anthony

It's cool to be Catholic! lesslikeyou86 February 4 2005, 15:13:41 UTC
Father Anthony,
First of all, your main "fallacy" is not necessarily a fallicy at all...there is not always a dark screen between the Catholic Parishoner and the Priest. If I remeber correctly, you have the option of the screen. For instance, during my confirmation, I chose not to have the screen separating myself from the priest. You must do very bad things if you feel the need to have the very dark screen separating yourself from the priest. You bad boy! Oh, and if there was a bucket underneath this paragraph, it would be filled with dripping sarcasm! Anyways, I'm just joking with you Anthony! You're my corn! And in general, to anyone reading this, I in no way meant to "put down" Catholics in this entry. Half of my family is Catholic and I respect the faith!
