WOW - I have come to expect it by now. But the fact that someone wants to spend $350,000 plus on construction costs of a 3 story house (not including cost of the property) on a steep slope but is unwilling to pay 6.5 to 8 thousand on getting the design/construction documents done that things will be built from done properly still boggles my mind.

Look at the idiots in the Magnolia neighborhood of Seattle who had their spendy custom house take a swandive down the bluff during a storm, and then sued the city for not letting them rebuild on what was left of their now seismically unstable lot. People are nuts.
