Eddie Cahill in Miracle, Alvin and the Chipmunks, etc.

I went out to watch Alvin and the Chipmunks today. What an adorable movie it was! Simon and Theodore were soooooo cute! *coos* Of course, I'm a little biased towards Simon because he is voiced in the movie by Matthew Gray Gubler (Spencer Reid in Criminal Minds) and I could recognize the way he talks even though they've Chipmunk-fied his voice, but the way he talks is really distinctive (to me, anyways) that it was so much fun to hear Simon speak, when I knew that it was MGG behind the voice. Hee. Can't imagine that Theodore was voiced by Jesse McCartney though. Theodore was sooo adorable!!! Hehehe. It would've been fun for them to show the voice actors speaking in their original voices in character during the closing credits, that would've been real cool. But it didn't happen. Boo. Jane Lynch was in the movie as well in a bit role, she played Spencer's mother, Diana in 2 episodes of CM.

WHEEEEEE!!! I found the soundtrack album to August Rush! I literally let out a loud gasp when I saw it on the shelf, which scared my friend a little, she was like, "What? What happened?" and I'm like, "Eee!!! Look at this!!! AUGUST RUSH!!!" Me = a little koo-koo. I actually *ahem*downloaded*ahem* the album a few weeks ago, but the quality isn't that great so I'm glad I found the CD 'cause it's obviously of better sound quality. Heh.

I also bought the Disturbia DVD, looking forward to watching it tomorrow. Lots more to gush about Shia LaBeouf when I'm done with the movie. Hee. xD

Aaand, my best find of the day: the Miracle DVD!!! *dances around happily* It's a movie starring Eddie Cahill (my sweet, sweet Don Flack) and I've been wanting to watch it for the longest time! WOOOOOOT! I sort of wandered into this music/video store that's kind of off the beaten path at the mall, and I was just browsing through the DVDs section when I suddenly came across it. I managed to stop myself from screaming though, LOL. The movie wasn't screened in Singapore, so I didn't think I'd be able to find the DVD here. Heck, I've never even seen the DVD here before; not even at international chain stores such as HMV or Borders. Shame on you!

This gives me hope of finding the movie Holes, which stars Shia LaBeouf, and like Miracle it's also produced by Walt Disney Pictures. *crosses fingers*

I just got done watching the movie and I LOVE IT! <3 I know nothing about hockey except that it's a bunch of guys skating on the ice and fighting over one tiny little puck, but I really enjoyed the movie. If I weren't half-dead from coughing so much, I probably would've teared up at the end when the US team defeated the Soviet Union team. Such a sweet victory. Eddie played the real life team goalie, Jim Craig, who incidentally is one of Eddie's childhood heroes. How cool. But playing the goalie meant that Eddie had his face covered in the hockey mask (which totally reminded me of Jason Voorhees, creepy) most of the time. ME NO LIKEY, ME WANNA SEE HIS FACEEE! Pretty much the only thing I could see was his beautiful blue eyes... *sigh* Still, I'm glad he played Jim Craig, because the guy was such an important part of the team, and he is really all kinds of awesome! (Jim Craig, not Eddie, although he too is very awesome) He managed to block most of the Soviets' shots, whose team was considered THE best at the time, the US Olympic team hadn't been able to beat the Soviets in 20 years - until the 1980 Olympics, events of which the movie is based on. Man, each time he blocked a shot I almost jumped out of my chair in joy. Hahaha.

I also managed to shop for my interview outfit. Shopping for clothes is A LOT easier when you actually have a specific item in mind. It helps me to focus, hahaha. I bought a pair of slacks, and a vest to match it with my white shirt. I do not like to wear a white shirt on its own. I sound a little nuts, but I feel a little exposed if I wear a white top. That's actually the reason why I usually prefer to buy tops of a darker color, LOL. =P

disturbia, jim craig, miracle, shopping, babble, alvin and the chipmunks, august rush, shia labeouf, eddie cahill, walt disney pictures, matthew gray gubler, my collection of stuff
