The Cullen boys are <3 / Long post ahead!
First off, can I say...I LOVE JASPER SOOO MUCH. And it's not just because of his movie star looks, hahaha. The poor thing, he's trying so hard to keep to the Cullens' vegetarian lifestyle (heh), I felt so sorry for him when he lost control and almost attacked Bella in New Moon. *sigh*
I can't get over Chapter 13 of Eclipse, "Newborn", where Jasper relates how he became a vampire, and what his life was like before he met Alice. I just wanted to hug him and never let go, but Alice probably wouldn't like that very much. LMAO. Anyway, poor Jasper. He's tired of feeding on humans, and he really wants to stick to the vegetarian diet, but it's not easy to put his past behind him. And my heart just broke when he revealed to Bella all the scars he got from fighting other vampires. I've read that chapter twice, now.
Can anyone think of any Alice/Jasper songs? I'd love to see what songs they might be. ;-)
And I can't say this enough. The word "soulmates", when used to describe Jasper and Alice, is just PERFECT. Guhhh. I mean, Alice foresaw them meeting, and Jasper just happened to be at the point in his life (or vampire existence, if you will) where he was getting weary of killing. Seriously, if the scene where they first laid eyes on each other in Eclipse is ever played out on film, you'd probably be able to hear my SQUEE-ing from 100 miles away. LOL!
Jasper: I was in Philadelphia. There was a storm, and I was out during the day - something I was not completely comfortable with yet. I knew standing in the rain would attract attention, so I ducked into a little half-empty diner. My eyes were dark enough that no one would notice them, though this meant I was thirsty, and that worried me a little. She was there - expecting me, naturally. She hopped down from the high stool at the counter as soon as I walked in and came directly toward me.
It shocked me. I was not sure if she meant to attack. That's the only interpretation of her behavior my past had to offer. But she was smiling. And the emotions that were emanating from her were like nothing I'd ever felt before. "You've kept me waiting a long time," she said.
Alice: And you ducked your head, like a good Southern gentleman, and said, "I'm sorry, ma'am." [Alice laughs at the memory]
Jasper: [smiling down at Alice, taking her hand as he spoke] You held out your hand, and I took it without stopping to make sense of what I was doing. For the first time in almost a century, I felt hope.
Alice: I was just relieved. I thought you were never going to show up.
[Jasper talks about what Alice had told him about Carlisle and the others, and going to find them]
Edward: Scared the hell out of them, too. [Explaining to Bella] Emmett and I were away hunting. Jasper shows up, covered in battle scars, towing this little freak - [Alice - LOL!] - who greets them all by name, knows everything about them, and wants to know which room she can move into. [Alice & Jasper laugh - in harmony! Awww.] When I got home, all my things were in the garage.
kelmett_happens, an LJ comm dedicated to Kellan Lutz/Emmett (hence the nickname, Kellmett) has posted a another pic of Kellan wearing golden-eyed contacts! Whee! It apparently came from Kellan's own MySpace account, which is maintained by his little sister. The account is legit, according to what I've read on the comm, it's really his sister. :D
Oh, lordy. That picture is HAWT! Why can't we have extreme close-ups of Robert Pattinson in golden-eyed contacts, like Kellan? Actually, it's probably better not to have them. I'd die of heart failure, LMAO.
There's been a flood of new Twilight set pictures today, so I'd thought I'd post the links here. I really mean A LOT. :D Easier for people on my f-list, and easier for myself if I wanna go back to the LJ post. Hehehe.

Finally, we get to see some clear pics of Kristen Stewart. She's pretty. ^^ And she's got cool boots! There's a whole bunch of pics of Robert laughing his head off. It looks like he's standing with Jackson Rathbone and Ashley Greene in those pics. I wonder what was so funny. But why did they make Jasper's hair curly? Hmm, maybe it'll look better when we actually get to see the finished film. *is hopeful*
You see, even though the pics are taken from quite a distance, it's clear that Robert looks GORGEOUS. But why is it that he doesn't look quite as gorgeous in other pictures such as photoshoots? Hmmmm.

OOO, Edward's Volvo is sweeet! The red car, it looks like a Mercedes, seems to be Rosalie's, and the Jeep is obviously Emmett's. :D Bella's truck is almost exactly the way I pictured it. It certainly looks ancient enough, LOL. But aren't the Cullen "kids" supposed to travel only in Edward's car, to look conspicuous? Maybe the other 2 cars aren't actually gonna be in the scene, they just parked it there for some other reason. :P

Seriously, I keep feeling I'm a little...grown-up to be caught up in this whole Twilight craziness. But the story is SOOO addicting! *clings onto the books* What am I gonna do when I finish Eclipse? I don't wanna re-read the books so soon after finishing, so maybe I'll do that before the movie comes out. Heehee! My younger cousin (the one who pulled me in) has already read Twilight and New Moon twice, haha.
