I have survived 2 out of 3 days of the workshop that my boss is giving! YAY! *bounces around*
It is not enjoyable to have to sit through a full-day's session of a topic that you have no interest in. I would seriously much rather be surrounded by screaming children. That's saying a lot too, because I usually can't stand to be around unruly children who behave like the devil's spawn. THANK GOD, tomorrow is the last day of the workshop. I'm tendering my resignation on Monday, and then my ass will be outta there by December 31st. I don't even care that I have yet to find a replacement job. I figured there's just no point in staying on when I'm just dragging my ass into work everyday, and just basically yearning for time to go faster so that I can go home and away from the office.
I felt like that too with my previous job, but back then I was actually happy to wake up in the morning and make my way into the office. But now, I almost don't wanna wake up. URGGGH.
I'll only be getting about two weeks' worth of pay, but it's not like I have kids to feed, so I'll survive...even if it means temporarily living off my folks again while I look for a new job.
Over with the rant.
I watched the latest episode Criminal Minds yesterday - #3.11: "Birthright". The recent killings of women in a Virginia small town seem eerily similar to a series of killings 27 years ago. It turns out that there was a survivor 27 years ago, and she had a son after she was raped by the serial killer. But he does not turn out to the UnSub in the end, it is the serial killer's other son, borne by his wife that's committing the killings. And it is also revealed that he died 27 years ago - that's why the killings stopped - and that his wife was the one that whacked him, after she realized what he was doing. In the end, his son was also shot to death by his wife, who was pregnant with their baby, and she claimed self-defense. Whoa.
CM episodes always creep me out to no end. But I love, love, love the show so much. It's tied with CSI: NY for my #1 favorite show. HEE. JJ was really affected by this case, which surprised me because she is usually very together, so it was a little unsettling to see her like that. I think Hotch is kinda like Mac in the way that they can kind of see everything that's going on with their team without them even saying anything to him. Hotch could see that the case was getting to JJ, and tried to talk to her about it.
Nothing special going on with Reid this episode, he was kind of in the background. I am liking David Rossi more and more with each episode...Mandy who? I loved Rossi's scenes with the retired sheriff. Oooh, finally we get some background on Rossi, and answers about the charm bracelet he's always carrying around. NICEEE. No Rambo!Morgan this episode, although there is his usual "baby girl" talk with Garcia. *melts*
Sadly, the show has only about one episode left before it runs out of fresh episodes that were completed before the strike. *is sad*
I'm about to start watching the Christmas episode of Supernatural. :D I should be sleeping, because I have to get really early again tomorrow for the dang workshop, but I figure 45 minutes less of sleep wouldn't kill me. In fact, sometimes if I go to bed way early, I tend to oversleep the next morning...I don't know why. My mom always thinks I'm bull-shitting, but it's true, Mom, I swear! *holds up 3 fingers*
Evil Santa Clauses, mini-Dean and mini-Sam scenes? I am so there. Might type up some comments if I have the time to re-watch it later in the week. :D
I'm still trying to get the damn LJ cut thingy to work. *headdesk* Why doesn't work for me? I copied and pasted the HTML code, but the cut doesn't show up in my post. GRRR.
EDIT:
FINALLY! The LJ cut works! I was sooo pleased when the link to the cut turned up in my post. HEE! Hmmm, weird...it didn't work the first time I tried using Firefox to post to my LJ. o_O Looks like I'm gonna have to use Firefox for my LJ postings in future. I primarily use Opera, it sucks sometimes. Maybe I should switch permanently to Firefox. But that means I gotta re-save all my passwords and stuff. *headache*
