I certainly need to do a better job of this.
Well, I decided that since I haven't written anything for quite some time (again) I'd give a little update.
I just got hired for my first job (cashier at KMart) and I start training on Saturday. That will be exciting.
I am currently in rehearsal for Fiddler...that goes up on the second and third weekends of November. I am just Chorus, Kellen is Chava.
Classes are going well, midterms were this week. Crazy to think that we are already on fall break....
I am loving school, making new friends, doing stuff.
I like being able to go home when I want to... (It sure saves a lot on laundry). Quarters go so freaking quickly!!!
I am also sick right now. Ugh my first sick time of the year and I hate it. Its not very good timing however, because on Monday my acting group has to present our scene that we've been working on for a month and a half.
Also, I just got my very own pair of character shoes on Friday and I get to wear them today to rehearsal!!!!
I am on Program Board...I am the Community Liason. So far all I've done is type up an extremely long list of business contacts in the community. I also applied for TUB committee....we'll see how that goes.
Classes are going well.
English is easy, just reading and papers.
Choir is fun.
I have a 96% in my Calc class so I'm extremely happy there.
Theatre Design I am having a lot of fun in...but I didn't do as well on my first test as I could have and therefore I have a B in the class as of right now. LAME!!! (stupid loft blocks and head blocks. I hate pulleys...)
Acting 1 is fun, but it's tough because it's so late at night.
Freshman Seminar is a waste of my time.
The food here was good for a week and now I am sick of it. Although it is better than no food. We have to leave for rehearsal (it is at SPSCC) before our caf opens for dinner....So we don't get dinner. It SUCKS.
Speaking of SPSCC...guess who's doing the show? Micah. It has been cool catching up with her.
