Hey! Go easy on me, I know no-one (yourself excepted) who has a Texan accent, I have a MASSIVE weakness for said accent and no-one to indulge me! So, (and I sincerely hope I'm testing your ridiculous new found faith here) as girls tend to do from time to time, I'm taking care of myself the best way I can with the rescources available to me, namely a bad rendition of a Texan accent...

I meant it sincerely. English women doing Texas accents are much more charming to me than, say, Texan women doing English accents.

The success of the Harry Potter series has made this sort of thing very common, but it's just bizarre hearing American women use terms like "bloody" or "dosh" or "loads" instead of the American-standard "lots."

I'm charming! *preens* FYI, my English accent is also quite charming, I have the debatable fortune of being reasonably well spoken, J says I speak like I have plums in my mouth, I say he speaks like a tinker...it's an ongoing thing.

Americans trying to speak with an English accent are something I have yet to experiance but the mental imagry is a little scary!
