Not dead...
I'm not dead, really, I've just been so busy/ill/abroad over the last couple of weeks that even J's not totally sure what I look like anymore.
So last Weekend I was in Amsterdam (Holland) for a long weekend, it was my sort-of-but-not-Sister-In-Law's Hen Night(s), so we all celebrated in somewhat predictable debauchery stlye, complete with Live Sex Show and Red Light District. Not really my sort of thing but when you've got 12 giggling girls nudging each other in an egging-on fashion, peer pressure takes on a whole new, slightly menacing light. ;-)
Anyway, that's another Post for another time, suffice to say, hilarity ensued.
Then pretty much as soon as I stepped off the plane (and that really isn't a joke) I caught a horrid cold, I blame England, all that bloody cold weather...So I was off work and dying of this plague-like cold for 3 days.
Then this Weekend, I was busy making the most out of the sun, yes Folks you heard me right, the sun was in England! There were rumors about it making an appearance but I'm a hardened Anglo and didn't give them any credit, until, come Sunday morning...yes, there it was! It's second appearance in ou, 6 months. So I did the British thing, grabbed my bucket and spade and headed to the over crowded Beach, which although over crowded was never the less really good fun. Went with all my guy friends, and we had a great time.
I think that brings us about up to date, my apologies again for beings worlds (or at least Britains) crapest updater, I do love you!
