This weekend needs to hurry up already! Friday is Jen's wedding, so I get to leave work early, wear my von Furstenberg dress, and see Eric in a suit. I'll need my camera for sure.

Saturday, Aug. 28 from 1 to 4 p.m. in the Rabb Lecture Hall, Copley Library (617-859-2270).
Women in Film & Video/New England and the Boston Public Library present The Second Annual Summer Film Fest: a Showcase of Women Filmmakers. This showcase celebrates the wonderful work of members of Women in Film & Video/New England. The program includes a screening of a wide array of films and a discussion with the directors.

In any case, the weekend will probably be productive, with Part 2 of Eric's CD Shelf-building Project and figuring out my sewing machine so I can hem some curtains.
Don't know what's going on here with the domesticity, but it's nice. Not that I'm trying, but I haven't smoked a whole cigarette since Friday late-night, or felt much like drinking. I just want to eat well and make stuff. Is that so bad?
