This whole weekend, since Thursday, has been a whirlwind of activity. . . a dinner date and a show; an extravagant four-course dinner and lots of wine; walking in the sun, shopping and drifting through galleries with someone, running into friends; barbeques, riding in a car with the top down, sleeping in. . . just so perfectly balanced, so very nice. Tonight will be a quiet one; my apartment needs some attention and I need to read something clever. I'm just really happy these days, and busy. There's a lot to look forward to, like my bookbinding workshop and trying to help Casie sell the jewelry she started making. I have to remember what it takes to design a website. It's been a while.

There are other things too, like my 26th birthday, which means I may be lucky enough to get all of my friends together in the same place at the same time. Then NY for Siren's, which has become a yearly thing, and I actually look forward to the chaos of the crowds and the heat, beer and the boardwalk. I think it's going to be a wonderful summer.
