1. The exchange will not happen unless at least 12 people sign-up. It would be very hard to match assignments and anonymity would be almost non-existent. So if you want to support this exchange pimp it in your journal, linking to this post.

I wonder if maybe you are not leaving enough time for signups, and it might make sense to push it back a little? As a het ship I think this one is still one of the small ones and drumming up interest requiring commitment (vs. just answering a poll) might take a while.

I thought about it, but I'm not willing to stretch sign-ups to more than two weeks. It would leave less time to draw/write and I'm not sure if it would make any significant difference. For me the most important part is to let people know. It's always a bit of a gamble to commit yourself in January to do something that is due in May, but this cannot be helped, can it?

amortentiasnape (says "slash" in the profile but includes het ships, esp. this one, in the interests), cliched_1977 (Lily/Severus, apparently in some circles this is called "Cliched" as a ship name), kinda_lush (young Severus, before the opening of PS/SS), snapexlily (what it sounds like), snape_fic (ditto), last_generation (Marauders-era fic), ephemeral_lj (associated with Ephemeral, a Lily/Severus fanlisting site), snape_rarepairs (where for het that means "anyone but Hermione"), and I asked for permission to post in prof_snape.

Now that I have made myself persona non grata to anyone who has an flist like I do, and will see a page full of that... ;)

I don't have much idea what the mechanics are of running an exchange, but I'd like to offer my services on that front, too, if there is anything I can do :)

Thank you for your offer, too. Now there's not much to do, but I think I could use some help with posting. Sorry to butt in, heh. You can also pimp this on lily_centric. Maybe you can get more sign-ups because not every L/S shipper knows about the L/S comms :) And personally I for example find the Snape comms overwhelming, because I don't like seeing Snape with someone other than Lily XD
