i am decidely not a badass
it's getting cold in california...which means um, ten degrees in the early morning.
i am such a wimp.
i drew the line at buying gloves, which i was seriously contemplating while i walked the stinky little fluffer this morning and the cigarette hand started to go blue. okay, okay, shut up. or maybe i could give up cigarettes.
drove into work far too quickly today, drank a bunch of tea and coffee (how do you tell when your teeth are going yellow) and as usual, continually shocked myself by actually listening to the things coming out of my mouth. attempted to regroup at lunch.
failed.
christmas is coming and no, mom, i am not coming home. new york during the christmas season (from about 31 july to about 15 january) is gaudy displays on fifth avenue, numbing cold, and filthy slush everywhere. and nerve to take the whole thing seriously. at least los angeles has a delicious sense of irony about it, palm trees with fake snow on them, thin Santas, and my personal favorite - the outdoor skating rink next to the plastic christmas tree.
i think that i will go snowboarding instead.
currently i am between houses - again.
