9nine Updates (Aug-Dec 2013)

It seems like artist websites under Lespros Entertainment are being redirected to a new URL. The domain lespros.co.jp has been added to all sites. New website can be found here: http://9nine-fan.lespros.co.jp/ The calendar of activities (schedule) part looks more organized.

Aired via U-Stream and Google Hangouts, boukenrider, azu_chan116, and I were able to participate. This international fan meeting was made possible by Tokyo Girls' Update and Itaru Tsurumi-san. There was no recording of the full show, but ChoRyuJin-san uploaded video cuts on YouTube. The event includes interactions with international and Japanese fans, member videos during their "fresh" days, and a live performance. No fan report this time, but feel free to comment if you have questions. (^^)
Inazuma Rock Festival
-- I won't be uploading the whole article because there's an English version at Tokyo Girls' Update. This event is where they announced the title of their new single "Re:," which is the theme song of Legal High 2.
Mezamashi, Jimodoru, and UMI-POP
Another series of live events last summer + promotion of Evolution no.9 (Tank Top Fighter Opening OST).
Girls' Award 2013
-- As a girl idol group, performing in front of a girl-majority crowd have challenged their musical ability. They were able to capture hearts, saying, "Oh my gosh! Crazily cute!" Please check out the live report at Barks.jp.
Nakano Sun Plaza and Nippon Budoukan
--- Two one-man live events has been announced for 9nine next year 2014: Nakano Sun Plaza on April 26, 2014 and Nippon Budokan on August 21, 2014. It has been a dream/goal since their debut (2005) to perform at the said venue. Check out Barks.jp's post.
Satake Uki as voice actress for Space Dandy + New DVD "Suki"
-- Satake Uki's dream to become a voice actress (seiyuu) finally came true. She'll be part of http://space-dandy.com/ as QT. Follow their Twitter for more updates! In addition, she'll be releasing a new DVD entitled "Suki" on December 25, 2013. Available for pre-order via CDJapan.
Kawashima Umika for Parco Theater's 40th Anniversary
-- For those who are wondering why Umika has been missing in live streaming events and single signing, she's been pretty busy for a stage play, 『高校中パニック！小激突！！』Kōkō-chū panikku! Ko gekitotsu!!
