First off, thanks for even being interested in my requests! This is my first fic exchange and my favorite thing in the world are AUs. I know I have some rare pairs here but I love these characters and I want to explore a 'what happens if two characters who never met in canon met in an au?'. Ultimately, what I really want is some good characterization and chemistry. My favorite type of relationships are the ambiguous ones: they're buddies who enjoy having sex and care for one another other, but aren't in-love? However, if you want romance, then by all means! :D
The wants: close friendships, fuck buddies, angst, humor, in-characterization, and maybe smut? But most importantly, a happy ending!
The don't wants: any mentions of Tony/Steve, Clint/Coulson, and motherfucking Ward. No rape/non-con.

I feel as though if Melinda and Natasha met they would have an instant connection - abstract identities and the morally ambiguous decisions they live with. They both have a unbound loyalty to Fury, so bonus love if he's in the fics (or any of the other AUs).
