I know I haven't been around much... getting situated in the dorm and whatnot. I love my friends; we all just sort of fell back into place like we never left, except half of them are even closer than last year--physically, I mean. Everyone moved in! Fourth floor girls came down to second and south campus friends came up to north! It's wonderful.
And our room looks magnificent. I'll post pictures of the epic failed triple bunk later.
And, wouldn't you know it?, right when I got back I became addicted to the Sims all over again. I had it under control back at home in that I'd play for a few hours every couple of days and that was it. But now... it's constant again. But there's so much to do! I'm installing all my college friends and recreating the cliquey empire we had going on in the Sims 2... meaning the Doctor and I must have a son. Unfortunately, take one resulted in not a son but twin daughters. Gah! So now Sim!Loony is pregnant again... the apples didn't work, but I shall carry on. I also left my Sim to the game while installing some friends and when I returned to control of her house found that... that she had given birth to Mortimer Goth's daughter, a terrible little thing called Jana who looked like the kid from Orphan (which was a surprisingly good movie, by the by). The Goth child, Jana, and the twins, Glitch and St Johnsbury, were all locked in a room and eventually taken away by the social worker. Yay!
And! Only a matter of Sim days after Sim!Loony broke up with Mortimer Goth (we weren't even friends, which is why Tara and I maintain that it was a rape baby) Mortimer Goth's wedding to some townie was announced in the newspaper. Hmmmmm.
OH. And Abel Magwitch autonomously had another child--a son the game named Angelo. Hmmm again.
Anyway. all sewing projects were put on hold as I transfered myself and my stuff, but as soon as I fall into a routine here I'll be back on track... I hope. Montparnasse is still naked.
Plushie Parnasse, that is. Though real Parnasse probably spent as much time out of his nice clothes as in.
Basically I decided to post because I wanted to complain about how crap most of the fanfiction is over at the Pit. I mean, I see the good stuff by Mme Bahorel and Colonel Despard in there, but I'm so overwhelmed by the amount of stupidity that surrounds it that my brain hurts... I hope to catch up on fanfiction soon too. And write more of my own! Geez. I forgot how busy college makes me feel, even when I'm actually spending most of my time playing a computer game.
