more excuses for not updating

So I haven't updated in a while. This is because my health has once again failed me.

I had intended to start updating the Jonny Crossbones guest strips I've been receiving this Tuesday, but last Wednesday, I started having a somewhat intense pain in my abdomen. I went home from the studio early and started vomiting. I had similar symptoms last ( Read more... )

I'm so sorry for you!
Isn't it odd how we don't even really need that gall bladder, yet it's so troublesome? Had mine out 2 yrs ago, no problems.

Yeah, my other issue is that I have a pretty high-fat diet generally. Have you noticed any change in your ability to take in fats?

I am feeling loads better. My incisions haven't quite closed up yet though.

I had already been advised to lower the fat, due to the evil triglycerides attacking me, so I can't say I notice a difference there. I have other things going kerplooey, but I doubt that it's to do with the lack of gall bladder - I'm just at that age. Eat right now, while there's still time!

I think it took me a week to feel like moving around. The scars from the teeny incisions are almost invisible.

That's what I'm doing. I lost a week and a half of work when I couldn't really afford it, though.

Jesus christ that sucks. Luckily the surgery sounds like it went okay, and hopefully your health will continue to mend.

Yeah, I'm going back to work this week but I think I'll do a couple half-days to get back into it.

I got all scared and stressed for you just while reading this post, I can't imagine how stressful it must have been to actually have to go through all that.

Fortunately the care was pretty good so the stress was low. Now my insurance is investigating my medical history to check to see if I had any preexisting conditions when they insured me-- that's stressing me out.
