Trip Out!
This afternoon I emailed a very long time friend and her S.O. out of the blue to request that they invite me over to their house. I have not seen them in about two years, although I enjoy their company VERY much. Later, I stopped by Whole Foods on my way to pick up some leftovers from my hairdresser. I saw a girl in the pasta sauce aisle and for a second I thought it was my friend...it wasn't. Not two minutes later, around the corner they came with thier shopping cart! Normally I do not really believe in fate or that things happen for a reason. I tend to think we are all here by some biological happenstance and are just kind of muddling around doing things and reacting to things that have been done. I believe in choice, cause and effect and coincidence.
But really, that was very weird. What WAS that?
As soon as we made a dinner date and parted ways, I realized that I had no other reason to be in the store so I left.
