Well, I made an entertaining new discovery while listening to Christmas music tonight!  The gold side is SO unoriginal, they stole their side song from a Peter, Paul, & Mary Christmas song called A Soalin'.  It starts out with "hey, ho" -- it's the same tune with the same chordal structure, and they sing it in rounds.  Now if PP&M had bent down and slapped the floor like lunatics, and if the singers on different parts of the rounds had been slightly off-pitch and off-beat, it would have been identical.
