sleepless rambling
havent logged in for years. surprised to see that some friends are still posting here. i guess its for the same reason that im back here - that little bit of anonymity you dont get on fb.
many cities in the world held their annual gay pride parade today (or rather yesterday, since its past midnight now). i watched the sf one live on the internet, wishing i was there. ive always had a soft spot for sf. in fact, i often tell others that i would kill to live there. but of course, thats only if I make a lot of money, since sf is a very expensive city to live in.
alas, i just got rejected for what would have been the best paying job i can possibly get right now. not in sf, but hey at least i could start saving for sf. all that is naught now. highly doubt imma come across another such opportunity anytime soon. so near yet so far... i had made it to the third and final round of interviews. my heart still aches when I think about it. i had been making premature plans about where i would live, what car i would get, adopting a dog, finding a guy...
