i may be cheap, but i am not a slacker.
so i reached the enrollment limit for my class, and closed registration. then i sent an email to the powers that be informing them about the situation. and their reply:
Person A: Could you clarify the numbers on this for me? I had been told that you were being given a double appointment this quarter, with the idea that you would be able to accommodate all (or almost all) of the students. Did this not happen? Or have enrollments been that big?
Person B: Really? How many students do you have? Since you are working 50% instead of 25% you should be able to allow twice as many students to enroll.
