BM Outfit Update....
So, I had dinner with my Mom tonight and I asked her to help me design and make some dresses for BM (she is a MASTER seamstress). I told her about this idea that has been floating in my head for a Hot Dog on A Stick inspired dress that I really want to execute......my vision is a mod inspired dress, slightly A-line and sleveless with the alternating vertical panels in HDS colors....and SPARKLY with a fun fringe!!! I don't think I want the whole thing to be sparly...I'm thinking of just outining the panels in sequins or maybe picking two of teh panels to be all sparkly and the other two plain...my mom suggested making it out of satin or something else shiny and doing a sheer sparkly top layer...I'm having troble picturing that but we'll see..
She thinks we can totally do it and is excited to help. We leave on Fri for a week long Alaska cruise and we're going to spend some time on the ship designing and planning so she can think about how to sew it while get creative with the colors and stuff.
