want to make a difference in someone's life?

How about this...want to make a difference in 6 million or so lives? maybe more in the future?

the national psoriasis foundation opened up long ago their Biobank. ( http://www.psoriasis.org/research/biobank/ ) they are accepting people who want to be apart of the research project. They accept skin and blood samples to study to be able to come closer to better medicines for psoriasis and hopefully one day a cure. So, if you are interested in helping in this genetic disease, please feel free to go to that page. You don't have to have psoriasis to participate, just have to be willing and qualify.

I personally don't qualify in any way because of my family's medical history. i thought I would at least share it to hopefully be able to let others help in this research. Maybe one day there will be a cure and those who are afraid of their skin will no longer have fear.

Psoriasis is a disease that effects not just the body but the mind and emotions. People rely so much on looks in this world that people with psoriasis spend a lot of time scared. Its worse when you grow up because kids are cruel. They will do anything they can to someone who's different. It hurts worse when its something you can't control. So, not to sound corny, do it for the kids at least. I know its hard enough to grow up with this and listen to the kids abuse your mind and beat down your self confidence...as of right now I've had it for 18 years and i am almost 25 years old.

So please look and take this into concideration. You could probably end up helping so many.
