On the way home.....
Well, it is finally here. A day that I have dreamed of, dreaded and hoped for all at the same time. Today is my last day in London. Tomorrow, I will be boarding a plan and flying home, to my little apartment in Atlanta. I have really missed the normalacy of my daily life, though at the same time, traveling from country to country, discovering a new city every 3 to 5 days has been an unbelievable experience.
I can't do a retrospective yet, as I am still reeling from how much of an awesome experience this has been.
London was, as I knew it would be- great.
Abby and I hung out on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday nights. Jenny came down to visit me on Thurday and went back to Kent this afternoon. We all had a ball. Abby and Jenny have friends in common, and I met some great future freinds named Kyra, Dean and Carlos at Abby's congregation. The Gordon's are so sweet and welcoming that I felt almost like one of the family while I was here.
I aw everything I wanted to see, I bought most stuff I wanted to buy, I ate all I could eat, and I really am ready now to go home and accomplish all that I know i waiting for me there.
I have Girl's Night out on Sunday as soon as I return, and I know that I will have some catching up to do at work and at home, so don't expect a final trip wrap-up until July 4th or so.
