Utterly shocked and extremely disappointed

So, One of my "friends", Mia, invited me to be in her wedding even before she was offically engaged. I was honored, if a bit reluctant to accept so early, but whatever. After she got engaged, she formally asked me to be in her wedding, then I started getting all these emails about dress color, and what size shoe I wear. We went to try on dres seperates at David's Bridal. We picked out dresses.
Then, I get a phone call about 6 months before the wedding and she says that her hubby to be has had groomsmen cancel, and would I mind not being in her wedding.

I'm SHOCKED! All the weding articles and information I have ever read says you can not un-ask someone to be in your wedding. It's RUDE, plus unless you want to piss the person off for the rest of their life.... its a bad idea.
So anywho, when I am asked not to be in the wedding, I'm hurt and offended, but I am ok. I move on, I heal..... partially.

So as the date of the wedding gets closer, I start to hear of wedding showers, and bridal showers that I am not invited to. As a former bridesmaid, I'm a bit ticked that I am not included in these important occassions. But then, ...WAIT for it..... ALL of my firiends begin recieving their invitations ot the wedding! The RSVP date is April 20th...... and I haven't been invited!

How's that for a complete turn around.???
How is it possible for me to go from being close and dear enough to be IN your wedding, to not even being INvited?

Any sugggestions on how to handle this or address this would be appreciated.
