Best Week ever
So Last Monday, I went to work at 12:30 because I had to work on Sunday. I had a chance to clean my house, and get some rest which worked out well, since I needed a clean house to begin my week.
On Tuesday, Sandra Lee and I worked on so problem files, and she taught me how to enter GPA's into the Banner computer system. That was good.
On Wednesday, I was COD, but I still got a lot of good productive work done, and then I went to class, where I actually was not tired, and stayed awake te whole night. After class, I went to print out my article tat I was going to write my paper on (that is due this coming Wednesday) and then I went to my parents house. From there, we went to TuTu Tango, which was great! I had not been in almost a year. Meltrice, Syrita and Kiana and I had fun, and I even controlled my spending so it was ok.
On Thursday, work was great because I knew I did not have to go to work on Friday, so I was smokin'. I cleared several files that I had questions about, and I found the answer to one file that I had received an email about... and why it had to J. Silny evaluations. (International school student) Then after work, I went to the gym and worked out, and then I went to the library and worked on my paper. I made real progress, left the library around 8 o clock, and got some take out from Figo. I went home, ate t, watched some Tv and went to bed before 11:30.
On Friday, I basically wrote most of my paper. I took breaks to watch tv, and talk to Chanee, and then I went to school to work in the library for a while, but I got a good 60 percent of my paper done on Friday. Friday night, I went to pick up a Gamecube controller from DDA, which was great because mine isn't functioning correctly. He was on his way to a hot date, but I had a chance to catch up on his life. Then, I went with My mom and sisters to drop off some rental items for a party, and then we went to Outback. I wasn't suppose to be hungry, but I was, and I ended up spending another 10 doallrs, which was ok, but not great.
On Saturday, I got my eyebrows arched, came home and ate leftovers, and then I went to my parents house, to goof of with my sisters and work on my paper. (Not much work was done) Later, we went to Sam's and then I drove home to get ready to go to the movies with Kemba. We went to see Something New which was about a black professional woman, who fell in love with a white, landscape architect. It was a good movie about how racist/prejudiced we all are, whether or not we know it. It also showed me how hard it must be to be an interacial couple. After the movie, I went home and ate half a frozen pizza, yeah for staying within the budget.
On Sunday, I woke up early, and went to the grccery store. I went to Publix and Kroger. I have offically stocked up, so I should not need anything except minor stuff from the store for a while. Syrita and Chanee met me at Kroger, and we had fun, walking around and "sister bonding". Times like that make me really happy I am not too far away from them, cause I had fun doing the little stuff. After the store, I came home, put away the food, and had to "pre-prepare" the food for storage. I shelled the shrimp i bought, I individually packaged the chicken breasts, I took out soome italian sausage and chicken to cook for Paella, (dinner or lunch today) and I decided what needed to be frozen, and what could be put in the fridge. Then it was time for me to get dressed, and go to the meeting. The meeting was good, I saw my girls, Kita and Porche, and I had a chance to sign Gabby's cast. She will be in a wheelchair for the next 6 weeks, but after that, she should be able to walk a lot better. After the meeting, I went to my parents house, because Syrita decided to have a few people over on Friday night. (It was all a ploy so that she could see Eric...) So I went to help get the house ready and cook. I swept and mopped the kitchen floor, had a bowl of my mom's delicious Veggie/Beef soup, and laid down for a little while. Then around 5, I made a Rum cake, and we ate around 6. Janyata, Sandy and Jaime, Eric, Brittni and Brandon came. We had chicken, mashed potatoes, broccoli and carrots and bread.
After dessert, I got ready to go skating, as usual on a Sunday night. Brittni and Brandon wanted to go, since they do not have school today. I took them, and me and Janyata left the house to go skating. We got to the Rink around 9 o clock, and Erika and Jasmine, we not there yet. Erika called me on Sunday to say she was going skating, so I knew she would be there. Kemba, Dee, Brandon Jackson and Brasper were also there. We had fun skating for a few hours, then we left around 11:15. I took Brandon and Brittni home, and then I roll by my parents house, and see that Eric is STILL THERE! I wait til he pulls out the yard, then I went inside to see what was going on. No one has answers to why he stayed until midnight... on a school night. I proceed to get some Rum cake and go home. And that was the Best Week ever.
Today, I hope to finish my paper before Family Study so that I can have it proofread and finalized by mom and Syrita afterwards. I also want to get my house clean and get ready for the rest of the week.
I wanted to go to Savannah this weekend, but it did not work out, maybe another time.I still had a pretty good weekend. Life is so much better when you take off work. I was starting to feel burn out, but I think I might just be able to make it til May now.
