HP and life.
We have an open position at my job. We have had it for quite some time.
Lately, HR has really been ramping up efforts to get the position filled, but for some reason it doesn't seem meant to be. Two interviews in a row now have been canceled due to the interviewees just randomly not showing up. These are people who are actively seeking employment, people who confirmed the times and completed phone interviews before they were supposed to come in.
My theory? I am starting to believe that the last guy who held the job (who was let go) put a Voldemort-like curse on the position and it is now never to be filled.

Oh...and I didn't blog here yesterday. I have decided I miss being able to blog about things that I don't feel as comfortable publicly blogging about, therefore I am no longer going to use this blog for NaBloPoMo and I will probably keep it pretty much friends-locked around here from now on.
I had a hunch this might happen, so I have been copying all of my posts into my blogger blog since 11/1 and will be using that as my public blog going forward. I was trying to keep both of them going for 30 days straight, but geez...that's a beating.
