Google ads know too much.
I was reading a friend's ad-funded LJ and I came to the realization that it kind of weirds me out how well Google ads works.
The ads at the top of the journal were for "Debate team gear!" This wouldn't have weirded me out at all if I was reading an entry about debate teams or debate in general, but I wasn't. In fact, the only debate team related activity that had happened on my computer in the last 15 minutes was an e-mail to my old debate coach about my availability to judge a debate tournament for him.
That is pretty creepy.
