after college life
so i talked to my mom more in depth about this whole peru thing. After a lot of interrogation, i think i can do it and go. however, there will be no support financially from them (as opposed to the support they gave me studying in spain). i have enough money saved for the actual program, but i still have to strategically earn and save enough money for a plane ticket costing about $1600. no more splurging, i guess.
im really excited though that i won't get tied down to a monotonous job right out of school, and will actually get to do the whole traveling thing while im young:) i mean, nows the time to do it, right? no career, no kids to tie me down at the moment...and im still at the age where its ok to crash on a couch or sleep in a 12 person room hostel. im thinking i might backpack a little bit of south america...we'll see where life takes me.
on a side note, im doing the annual undie run at ucsb next wed. anyone care to join me? :D
